Jeff. the Pacific Northwest may be the only place you can pull that off without blinding everyone on the road like some sort of UFO. Pretty cool actually.

BTW. I've owned a LOT of fine cars over the years, including 2 Porsche 911s, BMW 740il and BMW M5. The Toyota FJ Cruiser is, believe it or not, my favorite car. Because, just like Shindo plays well all kinds of music, the FJ Cruiser works well on all kinds of roads: city, highway, and, of course, off road.

More importantly, it begs to be taken on adventures.

Here's a video from my adventures with my 2007 FJ Cruiser, I am looking forward to 5 more years with this beauty:

Congrats, Alberto, nice ride! :Carwash: I've always liked the aesthetics of the FJ Cruiser. Funny you should recently purchased one, as I just enjoyed watching the Toyota videos on their website describing their advanced suspension topology, and it was impressive.

You're making me insecure now, as I'm driving around in a silver VW Sportwagen TDI now.. wish they produced a green one!

Very funny Matt. There's always spray paint :-).

I always like green - as long as it's on the right car. The racing green Jaguars were always a favorite of mine. It's a very nice color and a nice bonus (as my wife noticed) is that it matches my eye color just perfectly. I guess it was meant to be.

20+ Freeway (I'd guess 22) and 15-17 City. Not great, but acceptable. I have a very short (5mi) commute to work, so it's not a big deal - especially since it's such a fun car to drive around, road or dirt.

As with audio, the amount of time I keep something and how much I want to use it are the best and most objective metrics of cars and components - for my particular tastes of course.

5 years with my previous FJ and buying exactly the same car - different color - is as good a review as I can give anything.

Alberto
