 Robert those are some great features... That would haved saved me about $600 in driver replacement.....

Doug : The Supernova is a fantastic player, very well balanced overall, only plays redbook CDs. The Marantz SA7S1 plays CD & SACD, has more mid & high detail, operates mechanically faster & smoother but has a leaner sound. Both have a large soundstage. The Snova's remote is clunky and not full function.
I wanted the Marantz player so all my gear would match.
