Hi,

sorry for posting this here, but I couldn't create a new topic. The volume buttons in my E-360 remote control ( RC-200 ) stopped working.

Does anyone have experience with fixing this remote or using an universal as alternative ? Also, any idea on the price of new one ?

the whole us pricing of accuphase is beyond crazy as of right now....i mean, $32k usd for the p=7300? really? even if i had the money, i would just go to new york and buy an fm acoustics piece and be done with it. or if i really want accuphase, us non-millionaires will buy from (other places)...and accuphase has poor resale value because of the inflated prices. basically that, and when it's common knowledge to buy a lot cheaper from japan or (other places). and the us prices are not because of customs and taxes and whatnot...i know it's not because i priced it including shipping and everything else.

sorry for the tirade, nut i've really had enough of the greed from these dealers and distributors alike, regardless of brand...

edit: actually i am do want accuphase, but can't affford it, but again, at those prices i'm buyimg somrthing else ang most likely with better resale value.

When the prices is so expensive in US and EU, why can´t one just order from Japan?

There are several online hifi shops were you can order from in Japan. What is the problem doing that? :-)

I believe that is called the "Gray" market and the issue with it is you will not have any warranty from Accuphase.

Accuphase builds a very high end, quality product; frankly it isn't for everyone.

IMO this same statement could apply to many brands and products in our hobby. But I do agree that with regard to Accphase it may apply more.
