There is a difference between Uniti 1 and 2, it has a better cd mech with more power, but I was happy with the 1. Shame they don't have headphone amps. As a radio nut I'm also interested in the Uniqute 2, told it works well with low Ohm 'phones, but I don't fancy gilding the lilly with a seperate amp.

You don't hear that one every day.

I've heard so many times that Dyn and Naim are perfect match.

He was joking! Pictures, please!

I have a Naim NAIT XS 2 with 140's and thinking about moving up the Dyn speaker line. How are the 160's working for you?

I push 160s with a Supernait2 and very much enjoy the results. I cannot comment, however, on their direct comparison to the 140s, which I also know to be great.

Hey, Sean, thanks. I believe that the 160's were blessed with a better crossover, in addition to the larger speaker over the 140's. I don't have anyway to audition them here, which is a bummer. I'd love to hear a pair. Bet the SuperNAIT drives them nicely!

That is too bad. I can, with strong conviction, tell you that if you like the XS 2 driving the 140s, that you won't at all be disappointed with the 160s. I heard the XS2 - 140 combo which is what drove me to purchse both the SN2 and 160s. I guess the big question is whether or not the money spent on the 160 upgrade is worthwhile (vs money spent elsewhere). The best of luck to you!
