Default Pass Labs X150.5 Purchase

I talked to Mark at Reno HiFi today and he has an X150.5 that will be coming back in from a demo. We agreed on a price and baring any problems, it will be shipped out to me next Monday or Tuesday. This is my first class A/AB amp and it will be exciting for sure.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Pass Labs amplifier. I think you will love it.

I had an X250.5 which was great, but then I could not help myself and upgraded to the XA100.5s. Mark at Reno Hi-Fi made an offer I could not resist. He's a great guy.

Let us know how the X150.5 works out for you.

Unfortunately I have another volleyball tournament at Elizabethtown College this Saturday.

What do you think of the ARC LS17 as a preamp to go with the Pass Labs?

Love the Pass amps, but your electric bill will never be the same.

Some other owners have said the same thing. I've also heard that I'll be able to turn the heat down, so that may save me money on my oil bill.

I think it would compliment it nicely Jack

not really…….it's power consumption is one third of it's 'class A' cousin (200vs 600 watts) , the X150.5 operates in Class A for the first 10 watts
