I'm excited too. The reviewer will compare it to the almost 2x more expensive GE.

Tommy,

I would suggest that since the Accordo is now coming to North America you should listen to it yourself. That should tell you more than any review.

Also with the price in the US as I understand it is north of $14k, so Guarneri Evolution is much closer to 1-1/2x than double.

Axiss Audio has confirmed the U.S. retail price of the Accordo as $12,995.

That is definately not cheap ... in Europe it costs only 6500 euro. And that includes 22% sales tax.

Nothing Axiss sells is remotely reasonably priced. Just look at the price they charge for Accuphase. Daily robbery imho! More than 300% the cost of over here!
