Maybe just a tiny one. Can't say that I am spoiled but I usually don't get overly excited about things either. I can see the R8 V10 being a really fun car to own for sure though. I think the little smirk was after the dealer mentioned he'd be willing to discount the car a bit. They used to carry a premium.

Not that any of these cars are daily's but I can see myself actually driving an R8 on a more frequent basis.

Maybe I am just used to the 911 interior but I found the R8 interior to be more interesting and well appointed. The V10 exhaust note will also stimulate the driver much more aurally than the rather subdued "whoosh" of the 911 Turbo. For me, a large part of the driving satisfaction is being able to hear the engine sing.

Pull the cats out and go aftermarket and the noise can be quite intoxicating in the 911 Turbo.

The sound with the aluminum exhaust on my 930 was anything but polite. If I tried to run the engine in the garage during the winter, it would walk my wife's crystal right of the shelves in the dining room.
