I heard from a good source that the new McIntosh Turntable will be less expensive than the current MT10.

Did I miss any new McIntosh product introductions? Did the flooding have anything to do with the lack of product announcements or are they waiting for the next big audio show?

Thanks!

Wish I knew. They said they would be introducing new products at CEDIA but they aren't actually exhibiting at CEDIA and tomorrow (Saturday) is the 4th and final day. I've seen lots of press releases from other companies but not from McIntosh. I thought maybe the flood had delayed things but when I think about it I'm not sure how that would delay a press release. They appear to be exhibiting at CES in January but that's almost four months from now.

I haven't seen anything from Denon and Marantz either so maybe it's a D&M corporate thing. They appear to have some people at the show but no products on display.

That's good to know, but will it sound better?

Thanks for sharing.

What's different about the MC275? The speaker terminals look a little different. Not sure what else. Curious

Wow, I wonder if the cables are good, I mean compare to what other brands and where they rank, you might want to ask your dealer. Also the 275 in gold like the 75 60th anniversary, the same type of socket for the output tubes and light up like the C500, and the speakers binders look different, intriguing. I wonder beside the cosmetic s are there any sonic changes.

Thank you so much for posting these! It looks like the replacements for the XLS320 and XLS340 now use 4" drivers for the bass so I'm assuming they are ported like the ones that come with the MXA60. Am I imagining things or is the McIntosh logo at the bottom of the XLS340 replacements illuminated? In addition to the new speakers and interconnects they were also supposed to introduce new theater products.

Strange how we still haven't heard a peep out of McIntosh.
