Thanks for the headsup on the PWD.

The prices on the DLIII already went down, it used to be $1K now $6xx.

That was a nice thing with the Cary, everything was accessible from the remote.

Levi,

I have the stage 4 mods in my PS DAC. Worth every penny in my opinion.

The DAC was very good on it's own, but the Cullen upgrades took it to another level.

Thanks Chuck. I like the original sound.

If I decided to mod, how long is Cullen circuit turn around time?

Levi,

When I got mine, I had sent back my original to PS Audio, and then ordered one from Cullen that they had in stock with the mods. I spoke to Rick Cullen at the time. He's a very knowledgeable and friendly guy.

I don't know what their turn around time is to mod a standard one and get it back to you.

We are pretty close to one another, maybe some time we could get together and I can bring the DAC for you to listen to.

Definitely, that would be really nice Chuck. How far are you from Stamford? I have a club member there who normally hosts an audio meeting during summer.

Either way, we should get together and A/B dacs.

Levi,

I am about 35 min from Stamford, as long as it's not rush hour.
Rush hour takes 2 hours!!

That's not too far.

A couple of buddies can bring their Bryston BDA-1 DAC, Audio Note tube DAC etc.

Actually, we have an AudioCircle meeting this June in NJ. We will be listening to those DACs as a club. Everyone is welcome to come in NYAudiorave meetings.
