Chuck.......I think the MCD205 into the Perfect Wave DAC would produce a fantastic audio output. There is no doubt the DACs in the MCD205 have been outdated by the latest and greatest, but the Nakamichi Data Bank disc storage system and the transport in the MCD205 are excellent. When I sent the digital output from my MCD205 to the MCD500 dual quad DACs, the MCD205 sounded spectacular. Even though I purchased a second MCD500, and sold the MCD205, I regrete getting rid of it. By sending the MCD205's digital signal through the Perfect Wave DAC, you will be back at the leading edge. I think that is a good move. Since the Perfect Wave DAC can also be used as a preamplifier, you might even try driving the MC352 direct, just to see what that sounds like.

Dan, I am thinking your right on the money there, with your comments.
I am going to go do more reading up on it, and wait to see what Ivan thinks of the one he is getting to try out.

If I get the 1K trade in it would be $1999.00. Pretty easy decision.

I use the MS300 more then I do the MCD205, and the MS300 should sound even better then it does today with my existing PS DAC.

Ivan, when do you think you'll have the unit to play with?
