Try 8,000 watts. Each driver is 90 pounds! 136 db at 20 Hz. Insane. Nothing will ever top this. Seriously, Toga if you bought two of these beasts with the proper wiring/electricity to support them you would probably have the greatest hi fi system in the history of the highend. Forget the new amp. Buy two Qsub18's. That's about 70,000. When I get my XLF we can compare notes. Of course what is 1 Thor's Hammer compared to 2 properly wired Qsub18's? Nevertheless, I'll have some fantastic bass.

So I hear that the best way to position a pair of the Q-Sub 18's is to flank them at each side of the listening position & experiment with toeing them inwards.

Charles,

Really, I cannot buy everything. There are a long list in my mind. But in reality, I can t have everything.
A new 153" 2:35 screen, new XLR cables, new amplifier, a giant subwoofers... No way, a salary man like me
Cannot have all of those. Also a sub integration is not easy, it could bring more unknown troubles. What if the
Sub do not move at the same speed as Q7 .. . ? And many more of the what if questions. But $$$ is the first encountered problem for me.

If it has be done by Magico and marketed as part of the Q serie, we probably can assume it has been optimized to work with the Qs!
Alon waited so long to launch a sub which he founds good enough for him. Must really be something!

@Jazzman, I mean it could be the various choices of amplifier that owner of Q7 use, that cause the movement of Q7 bass drivers to be out of tune with the Qsub that driven by class D. Of course We have to see the back panel and know more about
Calibration facilities on the back panel of Qsub first to say further.

Toga, seriously you need a Qsub18 to go along with your Q7. You will like it so much you will probably buy another one. It will match up perfectly with your Q7's. You don't think Magico would make the Qsub18 incompatible with it's topline speaker, do you? When I get my XLF (that's going to be a stretch for me, just the thought of the money makes me dizzy and my heart pound), I won't be trading in my Thor. I'm going to do as any good veteran well heeled audiophile would do: figure out how to incorporate the Thor into my new system

I will when I win a lotto Charles, for sure.

Can it be a pair of F212 instead?
I sure will require 4 meters pair of balanced cables, at least Transparent, also a pair of long power cords to
Make this mission complete. I have had a plan for Fathom, but never 60,000 for a pair of subs.

But I will try !

Toga, I just have 1 Thor. It works extremely well. I would rather have an all Magico system if it were me. I am glad I can't possibly fit two Thors into my modest room, well maybe....
