Can Porsche move used certified cars off their lots across state lines like CarMax does -- to a very interested & determined customer? Just askin'
Best Sirs, Bob

Just a thought: No need to fly your own mechanic. Just get a PPI done by a dealer close to where vehicle is located.

My Porsche mechanic is like my Amex - don't leave home without it. I've bought three and he traveled with me to all of them (obsessive and ridiculous, I'm sure).

Hi ,
There's a 993 turbo for sale at the Pelican Parts forum Cars for sale . Go for the turbo. I rode one back in the day and the car went 300kph as shown in the speedometer. Compared to my 89 930 mine felt primitive and raw. tdh888 |

Yes. Any dealer (Porsche or other brand) can sell you a certified car and have it shipped to you. |

Not sure they (AD) are in the business of certifying 20 plus year old cars, though. I guess they might have the occasional trade in, but these days I don't see many 993 owners trading in their cars for a new one... it would not be the best financial decision with the increased resale values of those. In any event I put a word out to my local Porsche dealer, and they were going to check. I'm also pursuing two cars now... fingers crossed! A lot of the fun is in the hunt!!

Good to know, but most or all of the the cars are the same ones on Ebay...

Good luck w/the search. My dealer occasionally gets air-cooled era 911s in, but it's rare. I'd love to have a 993 some day if I have the space for multiple cars. Not so easy with city living!
