Ivan. I don't think that Ferrari could create a entry level product if they wanted to.
That is a nice car!! |

Should replace the California, is it a simple restyling or a new car?
So far , I love this Portofino. 600 HP and 3,5 s from 0 to 100 km/h.... |

beauty for sure and while your comparing, look @ the profile of a C7 Corvette.
I said before that Corvette got their styling cues from Ferrari , now I think a little turn around is fair play ! |

Portofino is much better looking than the slightly rear heavy California. Overall it should be a great car as the California was to enjoy the road top up or down. Never owned but I have driven and have always liked the California, it's just the right car for actually driving, enjoying and getting use out of a Ferrari. I've seen way more California's with much higher mileage than any other Ferrari so the owners are actually driving them. As far as "entry level", that concept may exist in Ferrari's wild imagination but not much elsewhere.

Of course the California prices will drop even lower than today's $125-150k range since plenty of Cali owners will want to upgrade to the new Portofino. With Ferrari's 7 year maintainance free plan and power train warranties going out to 12 years these days, owning a fun car like California without the major concerns of very expensive maintenance and repair bills should theoretically attract even more first time Ferrari owners.
