Unless many other owners are experiencing the same problem a single car issue is not a "big" problem. Having said that I believe that Tesla is about to face very tough competition from manufacturers that will be getting into the electric vehicle Market. Time will tell.

I assume he means for what's 'behind' the car, a company that after 10 years has yet to produce a net profit, yet stock prices continue to do well on speculation. A Large part of which is propped up by the taxpayers ............ at least that's how I interpret it.

Cut the government subsidy. Telsa needs to float or swim on its own.

Yeah, I thought the original post was about the car, not the political controversy behind targeted government subsidies. What's next, a discussion of ethanol?

Sorry but this is not a problem unique to Tesla. I've been in the service and repair business for about 25 years and have seen similar issues with Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
