I see an on-line dealer for the SP3 now states 4K pass-thru. That's awesome. Must be getting closer

Angry No audio fron SP3--Is there a fuse

My SP3 just quit--no audio from any of the 3 HDMI inputs I use. The light marked "Main" is partly red. Is there a fuse?

Also posted this in a new thread--hope that's not too uncool.

There have been other issues for a while--Any little electrical interference--A static spark, switching on a light in another room--can cause my screen to go blank, and audio to cut out. the video comes back on, but sometimes the audio won't and there will be a strange, rapid ticking noise, or sometimes, loud screeching audio. Have to pause or rewind until it stops. This happens mostly with TV, but sometimes with movies or streaming with ROKU.

Hi Gbaby. Mike Pickett is sending an RMA. I think I'm still under warranty, not real sure.

this started when I tried headphones, but got no sound, and now none through speakers either. Mike said since the "main " light remains red +blue, the SP3 still thinks the headphones are plugged in. I don't think I have the proper headphone plug anyway. It won't go all the way in.

Whatever... I guess it's going back.

I haven't had much luck with the vaunted reliability of Bryston. My first SP3 was DOA, and I've had to repair/replace two amp modules from my 9BSST2.

SP3 on its way back. Hope it's not gone too long.

Purchase was December 2012, so I'm just under the wire for warranty--Phew!!

With my first SP3, the remote would not communicate with the unit. However, I was sent another unit. I think you will be fine once its fixed. Dave, PM me on the AVS forum as I need to ask you something.

My unit is in for repair, so I contacted Mike. Depending on cost, I may go ahead, though I son't have 4K yet-- and it may be awhile, seeing as how there's very little content.
