Waiting at Spa...
His Ferrari 330 P4 sat there, sprung low on it's sleek, muscular haunches like a big cat. He pressed the starter button, and the 3 liter V-12 roared to life like the scream of a mountain lion. He snugged his belts down....tighter. Checked his mirrors, felt for the friction zone of the clutch. He sat waiting.....waiting for the race steward to let him out of pit lane onto Spa Francorchamps. He snuck a look at his Heuer Autavia, reference 2446, also known as the "Jochen Rindt". Too bad about Jochen, he mused, he was a helluva a driver. He felt sorry for Nina. "C'mon, let's go, the clutch is getting hot..." Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of "il commendatore". Finally, he got the thumbs up from race control. As he snicked the gear selector into the first gate, he thought to himself, "Whatever you do, don't f*ck up in Eau Rouge..."
