With aging and Covid lockdown anxiety, my hair style has advanced similarly.
I still can't play the cello, though. |

It is a blessing to have hair like that. The alternative is no hair...

Bach - The Orchestral Suites
La Petite Bande, Sigiswald Kuijken via Qobuz Received a '5 de Diapason', and was certainly added value to the practice today.

Elgar: Cello Concerto in E minor;
Tchaikovsky: Variations on a Rococo Theme, Nocturne (from 6 Pieces for Piano), etc. Johannes Moser (cello) Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Andrew Manze Pentatone (2017), via Qobuz Excellent recording. MusicWeb International sums it up well: “Here is a direct but compelling reading of the Elgar Cello Concerto, one that bares the work’s soul without necessitating a dry handkerchief. Its immediacy is in no small part due to the Pentatone recording, closely balanced, but in the warm and generous ambience of the Victoria Hall in Geneva.”
