Replacement diodes
Have recently ordered several different brands of 1N5395 diodes from Mouser for the amplifier project. Since they were only 6˘, 14˘ and as much as 44˘ each, here's what was ordered:
Fairchild . . . . . 1N5395 . . . 1.5A Taiwan Semi . . 1N5395 . . . 1.5A Taiwan Semi . . 1N5395G . . 1.5A Diodes Inc . . . 1N5395G-T . . 1.5A McIntosh Parts says the cross reference number is 1N5395GP, but it really boils down to the device form factor IMHO. Is this digging too much into the minutia? I'm going through the same thing with capacitors, but it's a good learning process, not to mention an opportunity to stock up your parts supply. -Gregory

I wouldn't be too worried about it, it looks like you have multiple cross-refs; that's always good.
Nothing more annoying than ordering a part and realizing the reference was wrong |
