I did actually, thought they were very cool looking. I've just never been a MF fan. It's the only electronics that left me underwhelmed with the Sophias. A5 integrated and CD, and the X-series. They just did nothing for me hooked up to the Sophias. The little Krell integrated with the Sophias was another story entirely. Maybe the Titans would sway me the other way, don't know at this point. A5 series didn't move me with Maggies or Dynaudio either. Too laid back and uninvolving, seemed to be a common trait with both series. To leave on a positive note- I did like the motorized ALPS volume pot.

The Musical Fidelity upper range/limited editions are nothing like the rest of their line. It's one thing to build products that compete on a budget scale and something totally different on the level of KW and Titan. We'll see what Mikey has to say about them as I am sure he will be unloading the review of the Maxx 3 and Titan at some point in the near future.

Yeah, I posted something about those a bit back. 4000 watts into 2 ohms.

You got me. I usually try to avoid Mikey Fremer and his Vinyl Infomercials. Watching him pontificate before the masses at RMAF as he moved thru a few rooms had gagging.

I always wondered if that was the case because I just couldn't understand all the hype surrounding their products based on the A5 and X series. Most of what I have seen written recently has to do with the kW line.

I have owned a couple of their Tri Vista 21 Dac's and they were very nice. I think their kW products are very competitive.

Thanks for the link Serge.

With a collection like that, how do you decide what to listen to???

If you watch his latest DVD, you'll see that he collects LPs not only for music but for the sake of collecting. He has some really obscure LPs for sure. A bit obsessive? Perhaps... But whatever turns you on and he seems to be happy.
