Try a reset to Factory settings.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to give everyone an update:
I was able to get a loaner C47 from my dealer.
Guess what? It works fine at my house, and using the trigger cable with it causes no issues. So I guess it is obvious that my brand new C47 is faulty. I'm betting there is something wrong with the ground (non-zero bias on the ground causing various issues).
Now I am debating if I want them to replace my bad unit with the new one or perhaps keep the loaner since I know it works (I'm honestly very tired and frustrated from all the testing - I've done so many permutations and various gadgets it's not even funny).

What is the firmware on the C47 you picked up from your dealer that is working? Is it the same firmware version as was on the faulty unit?

Good question. How do I check which firmware is installed?

Turn power on, (red button), when powered up. Press in and hold for 2 seconds your Input control Knob on left side. It will then display firmware version and serial number of unit. To exit press and hold Input Knob and you will return to your regular screen whatever you were on initially. You will notice the Serial Number of your C47 below the firmware version number. Mine is running ver 1.00 have never downloaded the updates on the advice of my dealer. Ran great out of the box 2 years now with all my sources, digital, turntable, vintage tape deck TEAC A400, CD Players and Amplifiers.

The unit that works has 1.03 version of the firmware.

Does anyone know if there is a way to choose any input on the C47 remote without toggling through all of them or at least reassign them so that two inputs that were far apart from each other on the selector knob are next to each other?
I'm only using two input choices that are currently really far from each other (USB and UNBAL1). I'd like to make the switch between them as simple as possible.
Thanks!

You can turn the other inputs off by going into the menu.

I'm listening to my brand new baby now and loving it!! I just picked it up this morning and got a smokin' deal on an open box. I finally weened myself off of using my prepro for 2 channel. I didn't expect there would be such a gap in performance from my MX119 running in 2ch..
