Not that Mac is cheap but considering the high price of many competing amps that run hot and thus will not last nearly as long: what a bargain the 611 truly is! My 1.2kw's don't run even remotely hot, so amps that run "hotter" would not be difficult to envision. I do not think I would make anything of that.
