Well, when one has all that $$ in a cartridge, it makes you think about how to extend the life. (How's that for rationalization?).

My AudioDesk Pro was a great upgrade from my VPI RCM. Couldn't be happier!

I had a Nitty Gritty 1.5Fi when I first started out.

I liked it a lot. But there's still a bit of noise in my records. Ordered the AudioDesk Pro last week. Should arrive in time with my Acoustic Signature gear. Hope that fixes all my old discs and I can start going thru some bargain bins.

Default Audio Desk Systeme RCM
Update: I was able to trade in my standard Audio Desk for a Pro model. It's a bit quieter and it has a dry only cycle. I am totally happy with it.

I used to hide stuff in the boot of the car - wait for the missus to go to bed then sneak it back in. Then when she finally notices it, there's already a layer of dust on it - "it's been there for ages"

You are not alone guys...I used to have a 740iL with a huge trunk,...now an FX50S SUV, more space...next upgrade will probably be a larger SUV. A large trunk is essential to upgrading my audio system 😎😎😎!
