Amazing speakers! I have the anniversary edition with a pair of Descents.

Let me know what you think when they have been set up
Marc.

Anyone considering the CLX Art needs to audition SoundLabs. IMHO, (OK-not so humble) the larger PX panels with the latest Toroid II upgrade far surpass anything ML has to offer. Full range without the need for anything else. What I am offering here on AA and on Audiogon is the very best and an absolute bargain which should not be ignored.

LMAO? I'm sorry, please explain. Have you ever heard SoundLabs? Where is the 'snake oil'? Come hear them, and you too might become a believer.
I am appalled at what seems to be the utter lack of appreciation (with some exceptions) of the product on this forum. Perhaps it's simply ignorance?

Marck, what do you think of the CLXes with your ARC tubes? I was led to believe that these speakers will not mate well with tubes because of the impedance curves. I am wondering if a good tube amp would warm things up a bit, which I would prefer.

So I wouldn't believe all what you read!

The Ref150 matched superbly with the CLX. It has plenty of power, with dynamics, transparency and 3d dimensionality.

Personally I think tubes with panels are an ideal match. The only caveat is to make sure that the amps have enough power. Speaking to friends the Ref75 also is a great choice.

Hope that hwlps
Marc.
