Looking good Mike! The 3.7's look much nicer than the 1.7's and I bet the sound is incredible in there too.

Congrats on the speakers!

The 3.7's are a very nice speaker and you have the full range covered with the subs!

Very nice, Mike.

Do you have some more space to move the speakers away from the wall behind them?

Klao,

Yes I can pull them out from the wall about 4 feet. I do have to move one of the chairs out of the way. It's not ideal by a long shot. I have a large finished basement that I was going to move to but my son has moved back home and has band practice with his friends down there. I was concerned about something getting broken. So I stay in shape rearranging the living room. I will have to take another picture so you can see what I have to work with. I will give you a laugh.

~Mike

Mike, nice story and pictures - I liked the tongue in cheek approach! The Maggies look great too as does the rest of your set up!

I called a local dealer to see about setting aside some to audition speakers - MLs and Maggies. He said the 1.7s and 3.7s are by far the most popular products at their shop, and he that Magneplanar is starting to struggle to keep up production.

How long did you have to wait for yours?

Hi John,

Sorry for the slow responce back. It was about 4 weeks before my 3.7's arrived. Magnepan is probably gearing up for the 20.7's. They are going to be really busy once those start shipping. The 3.7's are everything I could ever wish for.

Mike... Great to hear when major purchases live up to, or exceed our expectations.
