Data added to SOOLOOS
Can someone help me how to adjust the data, when the music was added to the sooloos???
I always get a wrong date, and don't know were to adjust. I know who to adjust the release date of an album, but I am not able to adjust the date when it was added to the sooloos system, and I always get a wrong one, actually I have "december 10 , 8109" as Added date. Thanks |

Either edit the album data thru Control Mac, Control PC or right on the edit metadata link on the Control 1,10,15 screen

Hi Jerico,
Upload Date is NEVER THE SAME as the Releas Date of a CD. Release Date is the Date where the CD was released while Upload Date meant the date you rip the CD into the Sooloos. I hope I did not get your message wrong. As for editing the data/details, Sooloos Comntrol (Mac or PC) do provide levels sufficient for changes that are needed. Maybe Victor can help chip in here, if I do mistaken the question. Cheers!

His system is entering the wrong Update date and he would like to know where you set the current date on the system so the Update date matches correctly. Jim |

I've been through all the Sooloos menus and have not seen a way to change the time or date. I think the time and date are automatically set through the internet using info from Meridian's own "cloud" server. Mine has been off by about 4 hours since I got my server (it changes to tomorrows date at 8pm not midnight).
Did you buy your Sooloos from an authorized dealer and register your Sooloos yet? If not registering it may get you into the "cloud" for an automatic time and date update. Otherwise you will need to contact Meridian on this.

I bought the system from an official dealer. They already contacted the import dealer (VIERTRON for BeNeLux = Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). Viertron sended an email and already got an answer, it seems that a few C15 units are dealing with this sort of problem, and I'm the lucky one to have one of those!!! They are looking to solve the problem, but with my 5000cd's I'm not going to transfer them in the Sooloos when I probably will have to start all over again to have a correct date Regards Rudi |

Sorry
I didn't understand the original post To my knowledge there is no way to set today's date on the Sooloos I too believe it gets it from the Sooloos cloud OR from the Control Mac/PC computer I have 2 Sooloos systems and never had the issue you describe |
