That's so true. WOW!! I think I'm in love with Lizz Wright (Dreaming Wide Awake).

I've tried various tubes in my Lamm 1.2s. I found Telefunken to sound the best in my set-up.

For folks using after market power cables for the 1.2's, are you using a
15amp or 20amp cord?

Thanks

Rich

Man, do I love my new Lamm M1.2 Ref monos. It seems as though they simply liberate the music. Whoo-Hooo!! Simply stunning. Now let the tweaking begin.

Thanks. What does the rest of your system consist of? What stands are you using under your M1.2s?

HI
First of all sorry for my broken english. I have got a problem with one of my Lamm M1.2. If i connected this amp with my loudspeakers and my pre-amp,it is possible to hear no buzzing for at least 10 Minutes. Then you hear a kind of scretching threw the connected loudspeaker and you hear something like a loud continuing ground loop. It is impossible to hear music.
Unfortunately this amp has a bent fuse section under the ohm settings of the control panel. Normally you can push and turn the fuse holder out or in which works superb with one amp,but this section is so bent, that you are just able to fit the fuse holder in with problems, but you are not able to turn it in any direction. Can that be part of the problem? I don't know that much about fuses.

If i disconnect the pre-amp (anthem d2,but i plan to get a Lamm Pre-Amp soon) and start the Amps again there is the sound of a loud ground loop as well, but now threw both boxes.
What can be the problem? I never used the earth and grounding section of the amps and the amps are not bi-wired. The Loudspeaker Cable are really cheap ones with a plain connection and not isolated as well as the connected RCA Cable costed me about 20 Dollars. I don't know if this can be a problem.
I tried to connect via XLR,but in the moment i powered up my pre amp with the m1.2. even powered up, they loudspeaker sounds like a crazy star trek warp canon of the seventies... I live in Europe,if this is important to know. Maybe there are other pinouts in US then in Europe.
The loudspeakers (Kef 207.2) are working well, because i tried them with another receiver as well. Is there anybody else having similar experience to my own?
Thank you very much.
