PerfectWave P5 and P10 Power Plants
In the latest PS Audio newsletter, Paul takes the wraps off of the PPP replacements -- the P5 and P10 Power Plants.
PS Audio - December 2010 PS Audio Newsletter : Fresh & Informative Stories of High-end Audio, Video & Music Not a huge amount of info, but of course they are tremendously better than the PPP according to Paul  I am pretty happy with the performance of my PPP, but was wondering what others opinions are about the possible improvements based upon what is being shared so far.Master Lu - any insights would be appreciated. Seems to be a rather significant technological upswing over the PPP. According to the news release by Paul, "Certainly a major upgrade step from the PPP, so if you’re looking to kick your system up a notch or two, this is the ticket. A P5 or P10, compared to any other power conditioner in the world, just stomps them".
I assume he is also including the PPP in the stomping in a nonchalant way. Of course, that is reflected in the price: Pricing is different depending on the voltage because of the different magnetics required. Suggested retail for the P5 is $2999 for 100 to 120 volt units and $3,499 for 230 volt units. The P10 is $4499 for 100 to 120 volt units and $4999 for 230 volt devices. Bob

Sorry, Paul. No P5 or P10 for me. I am good with my four Power Plant Premiers. They are working perfectly, and will be in my systems for years to come.

I don't think I will swap my APC S-15 on my non power amp components for the new PS Audio units unless they come with battery back-up. I will have to read more.
