ROFL. Mad? No way!! And that's coming from someone suffering from the same "itis". Do you think that people in the insane asylum think they're crazy, much less confirming it by the roommate? I think we are all a little "crazy" about our music/systems. That's part of the fun. This year I must've spent $20 in upgrades only to begin planning for future upgrades. All I can say is there are far worse things to invest in, but happiness is priceless. Oh, and by the way, I've been told you can live with one kidney. Enjoy!!

From the dictionary:
mad |mad| adjective ( madder , maddest ) mentally ill; insane : he felt as if he were going mad. • (of a person, conduct, or an idea) extremely foolish or ill-advised : they were all mad to go believing such a cock-and-bull story. • in a frenzied mental or physical state : she pictured loved ones mad with anxiety about her | it was a mad dash to get ready. • informal enthusiastic about someone or something : I wasn't mad about mountain bikes | [in combination ] a sports-mad nation. • informal very angry : they were mad at each other. • (of a dog) rabid. • Brit., informal very exciting. Andy, take your pick. I'd say: enthusiastic about something...

I went from my Magnepan 3.7s to the much larger 20.7s in a few months. My wife wasn't happy about it but she got over it. (at least I got 100% trade-in credit for the 3.7s so that's how I justified it) |

In the meantime - I am enjoying the Spendors again. Maybe I should save 20k and just buy some D7's or those lovely Martens Djangos on SNA...
