Default Surprising application of Electra ll power cable

On a whim today I installed an Electra ll power cord between a Monarchy Audio AC regenerator and a Walker Audio TT motor controller that feeds my VPI Scout 300 RPM motor and am shaking my head at the results!!

The soundstage has gained solidity and background "blackness" has gained density if you will along with that, bass articulation is much improved as is high frequency purity! This is going from an Oyaide Tsunami cable terminated with Oyaide P/C-046 connectors which is no slouch in the resolution department!

I've had the Electra ll for a number of years and have tried it in many different applications and while it did make a noticable difference in those applications, some good some not so good, I have never heard it make such a profound improvement as in the current application

Al,
So your saying the sound improvements noted are most likely related to a subtle difference in TT platter speed control regulation. Correct?

I would hesitate to assign the noted differences to speed control regulation as that is what the Walker TT motor controller is famous for which itself is fed from an AC regenerator. As you may already know, the Walker is an AC regenerator but instead of a pure sinewave, it outputs a proprietary sinewave shape of Walker's own design.

The only component changed was the power cord between the Walker TT motor controller and the AC regenerator that feeds it a pure sinewave of
60hz set to 118 vac.

Cheers
