Default Pass Labs and Wilson Audio Sophia 3

Hello all.

I currently use a Sim Audio Moon I-7 and Supernova to my Sophias. It sounds good, but as it often does,it pops up a thought in Your head."What if?"...

The thought of a Pre/power amp has grown and I just wanted to hear what You think of Pass Labs?Well obvious You like the brand since it is the Pass section.

All I want to know is if You think that Pass Labs is a good match to Wilson?
I have been reading about the XP-10 pre amp and XA30.5 30 Watt Class A amp.
The later has got rave reviews in Stereophile. But I am curious about Your thoughts.

First of all.Is this a upgrade over my Moon I-7 integrated?Do You think that the Pass got enough power to control the Sophias? The Sophias is a easy load but not that sensitive.88.3dB(B)/2.83V.

Best Regards,new order

A pair of xa60.5 would be perfect and it works very well with xp10, really.

Thanks for Your answers!

I have heard so much positive reviews om both XA30.5 and the XA60.5.I am not rich, not by far.But perhaps it is wearth to go the extra mile to aim for the monoblocks then?

If it's any help, I run a pair of XA100.5s with Sashas, and it sounds very nice. I'm certain the Sophia would sound great.

I got started with Pass Labs buying a used X250.5 as well. It gave me a taste for the Pass sound without making a huge financial commitment. After a while I made the jump to the XA100.5s. I'm happy.

Thanks for the answer.Dou You think that the X250.5 have a simular sonic signature as the XA100.5?I would love to have those but it is a matter of cash.As usual.

Do i "sacrifice" much not to go with their Class A amps in comparison?
