Default Streaming Tidal or Spotify ?

In my MX123 there is build in Spotify streaming software .
I understand that Audio quality is better with Tidal .
If I will buy the McIntosh MB50 ( Connected to the MX123 ) to use Tidal , Will it improve Audio quality ?
Thanks

Yes it will.
And with Qobuz it will even more.

PS , Is it "worth it " to add a $2000 (MB50) for that ?

I was looking closely at the MB50 but then I noticed it's dimensions and although it is not wide, it is long and would not fit in my cabinet.

I have never heard it but I'd have bought it knowing it was excellent. It unpacks Qobuz Hi Res and Tidal MQA so really it becomes up to the rest of your system.

Just a note on Qobuz. If you'll ever be using the Qobuz Windows app, you might run into a number of issues like loss of full app features, drop outs, and app freeze up. It's also not very user friendly if you're not very IT literate. I've tried Qobuz twice and have given up on it in my system do to its wonky Windows app. Although Tidal and Qobuz tout their higher resolution streaming, my aging ears don't realize that much of a sound quality advantage with them. I've always stuck with Spotify Premium because it always works and sounds fantastic in my system.
