Default And so it begins .. Wadia

One of the new tasks for those of us at Sumiko is to assist Wadia in their market efforts. FineSOUNDS has already helped them by funding new developments and Sumiko has been working on improving their supply chain. Now we're going to find out how the assistance is paying off and what we will have to bring to you.

Heading to Ann Arbor the day after the Cape Cod Shindig to hear all about the upcoming new products and technologies from Wadia. It will be interesting and exciting. I haven't visited Wadia since Don Moses was there and they were in their original Wisconsin location. Promises of some real advances a decade in the making so it should be fun. (Just wish there was time to spend a morning on the Au Sable too. Oh well maybe next time.)

Need less to say I'll report back with what I learn.

Bill

Bill...interesting news and good to hear that FineSounds is looking to extract synergies from the different pieces of their portfolio that they have put together. I posted in another thread about why roll-ups like this in the audio industry have not made sense before and the risks that they pose but if done/executed correctly, i think this can become a powerful business/ownership model that starts to build scale and economic strength underneath many small niche brand names whose ability to grow beyond a certain point is severely hampered by their stand-alone size. I will be following this with a lot of interest and look forward to your impressions of how things are working out as part of FineSounds

Will you be dropping by at Paragon. It is about 5 minutes from Wadia.

Not sure of schedule yet. But I believe Larry will be in northern VA at the time I am in Michigan.

Will this include the Q Sonix brand as well? We've had an excellent relationship with Wadia, so let me know what I can do to help!
