Since you have 2301's, there's no concern for overheating, correct? Isn't it only the "quad balanced" amps that have the issue?

This has already been
discussed elsewhere but I thought the 2301 were quad balanced.
Anyway they seem to have a rectifier that recognizes when the signal is not balanced and amplifies it as unbalanced.
But anyway, if the Lyngdorf has the same problem as the Mc, then I would prefer to insert it in the processor loop and keep a pure balanced connection between the preamp and the amps...

Jérôme.......This is exactly how I have my MEN220 operating right now, and it sounds fantastic in the C1000P processor loop.

Jerome, you're correct about the 2301, it is quad balanced. At least McIntosh claims it is.

It upsets me that I would have to spend almost as much for 2 additional sets of interconnects as I did for the MEN-220 just to correct an problem that should not exist.
