Default Epson 5040ub
Anyone else excited about this projector? Quite the deal for $3k. Accepts 4k input, HDCP 2.2, 4K enhancement, HDR etc.

Looks to be a great value. Pixel shift 4K and HDR all for $3k.
I'd have to see its black level performance and mid tone rendering in person to get excited about it.
I am in the process of moving and will be looking at building a new theater in our new house, so very interested in new projectors.

Yes indeed. I am looking at the 6040. I have its predecessor the 6030 and have been very happy with its performance for the price. It is quite the light cannon. I have seen the 4K pixel shift technology on its laser model and it is quite impressive. Being HDR compatable is very important for picture quality.

Very interested in the new Epson projectors. Recently finished our basement and have a home theater room waiting for a projector, this may be perfect timing.

I just purchased the 5030 a couple of months ago, but I'm interested in their latest models. Please post observations if anyone gets the opportunity to see one in person.

I will be getting one to replace my BenQ as soon as they come out. I will let y'all know my impressions.
