I think it was the whole thing, setup and source material included. These guys are clearly pros. I will say that I have heard these Sony speakers on different setups before and have not been blown away like I was on Sat. To me this suggests it was the electronics and the setup more than the speakers. The realism, dynamics and speed were just awesome.

Every year this is one of the best rooms at the show. A few years back they blew me away when they used 2 sets of stacked Sound Lab speakers for each channel. EMM with Pass Labs amps. I looked something like this. It actually looked larger.
