Probably never. Especially so since most of your (and many of our) listening is done from servers whether they be MS-300/750's, Olive units, Burmester 111's or your favorite laptop.

That said a great CD player still sounds superior in my mind.

...be sure to take the version with external power supply.

BTW...you can have the external power supply in two formats...but I'm babbling....you know all that

Go for it. My biggest Burmester blunder was not buying an 089 or 69. But MSB has opened my mind and wallet. I haven't spun discs in 3 years but I am now and loving it. If your collection is organized it's a breeze.(search for the cd you want to listen to on the iPad then go to the draw and grab it.) Oh yea I lost 10 lbs from getting up off the couch to change a cd.
