For sale: Oppo BDP-95 universal Blu-ray player, MSRP $999. This player is in excellent condition without scratches and operates flawlessly. I am the original owner. The player has always been in climate controlled room, no pets, no smoking, no kids. It comes with all factory accessories, factory power cord and HDMI cable, remote control, owner's manual, cloth bag, and factory packaging and shipping carton.

UPDATE: The BDP-95 has now been updated with Oppo's ISO file region unlock software.

It’s been a while, but as I recall, the BDP-95 can serve as a good spinner for an external DAC, no?

Mike.......Yes it can through either optical or coaxial digital output. It can also playback from an external USB hard drive or USB memory stick. It is a versatile machine. Plays SACD and DVD audio, too, and has both balanced and single ended stereo outputs, plus the usual array of 7.1 single ended outputs for surround sound. The BDP-95 uses two 8-channel, 32-bit ESS SABRE32 ES9018 DAC's. It is a great player.

The onboard DAC is no slouch either! It got some pretty good reviews.

Bob.......The player manual states this player plays BD-Video with marks containing region code A. This player plays DVD-Video with marks containing region code 1 and ALL.

My 205 only plays US regions. I need a cheepie that plays other regions. If you have a disk at hand that proves it, I would be interested. If not, I am sure you will find a buyer, they are great players.
