Since acquiring my "new old" McIntosh gear that is soon to be gone through and extensively refurbished, I've been trying to decide what music I'm going to listen to first, once it's been broken in a "few minutes" and tested out.

Been wracking my brain on this... want to find something sonically outstanding, something I love as a musician and music lover, and something very familiar.

A few days ago I put Led Zeppelin I on in my car and have listened to it straight through probably 4 times now. Sonically Outstanding? No. But it may just be my first listening session. Once through, no interruptions (except to flip it to Side B), just me and the gear.
