Are you listening more than 12 hours a day ? Wow.
Ha!

No worries. I am having a blast. My stereo comes on when I come home from work and off when I leave for work. I am very lucky. I do not always listen critically but enjoy my music. When I hear something I enjoy, I crank it.

IMO, mc1.2kw is still the amp to get. That's the beauty of Mc isn't it? They always stand great on their own!
Thanks enit!

I really enjoyed listening to Brian aka Klipschfans MC1.2KW's and liked them. A lot. Of course the MC2301's are on the list as well. No surprise.

Do you own them?

I've got 4 separate systems in different places, mc1.2kw, mc601, mc402, mc300 are the main amps in those places.
When you have to be in many places all the time, you'll have to bring your McINTOSH with you.

Which amp sounds the best?

What's the saying? This thread is useless without pics. Could you share some pictures of your systems?

Well, I thought this would happen. Wish I had better photography skills. And while reluctant, here it is.

The show with the one with Natalie Portman on the ground is Thor, the white-ish thing near the mc1.2kws is the iPad controls.

On the extreme right is the mt-10, c50, mx151, Kaleidescape m-500, mvp891 on mcd1100. You don't see the mc8207 as it is tucked away.

My c1000 is on loan to a friend contemplating to buy one set. So the c50 came from the mc601 set up, which now uses mx121. Since I don't spend much time there.
