Are you preparing for the 808.5 upgrade or wait until more settled in?
I guess I could get used to the iPad ap to control a MC200. It was a bit slow when I compared it to the C15 and of course the screen is much smaller. I seldom use Ipad apps for my Olive or SonoS units. I prefer to control those using the MacBook Air and the web apps.

For Managing I use the Control PC app. For starting "swim" when I get home I use the iPhone app and when I know what I want I start a new focus/swim from ControlPC (where I often sit and work). For relaxing couch mode I use the iPad.

But for me Swim is working very well and I can relax the active music selection unless I just want select specifically another song right now.

Took the plunge and upgraded v3 to 808v5
As much for the power supply upgrade, id41 and extended 5 year warranty as anything as i don't use the digital ouput card.

So far sounds terrific. Will let it settle/burn in and try the sooloos tomorrow eve.

This is supposed to be a upgrade that can be performed at the dealer and not sent back. Less than a day I believe. Is that what you experienced?

Yes, your dealer can order the upgrade kit from meridian and perform the upgrade for you.
