I have P-03/D-03/G-0Rb combination at home as well as a Reimyo DAP 999, with an EAR preamp, Pass amps, and Maggie 20.7's at home. Out here on the island, I have the new 30th Anniversary K-03 and some exotic headphones. My problem is that I have not been able to compare mine to another unit. I can say that it transformed the P-03/D-03 into something sublime and actually pissed me off that the dealer at the time (not Ivan) didn't tell me about it! It will be a few months until I can get mine down here, but I know it will make a big difference. It was the top of the line at the time, so I have high expectations.

For 10 mHz master clocking purposes the G1 and G-01X is 2 of the 4 best out there in the world (IMHO) from what I can see from a stone cold analysis of phase noise at 1, 10 and 100 Hz, Allen Deviation, etc..per numbers received from Esoteric directly. The other 2 being high-end Cybershaft models (OP13 and above) and the Sforzato BVA-enabled $33K+ clock.

The G-0s (used to own this for several years) and G-0Rb are great units as well; don't believe the phase noise and Allen behavior is quite as good as the G1 and G-01X but it is close.

Rb and it's tauted long-term stability behavior has IMHO no relevance in the audio world. Clocking for audio and video is more about phase noise, Allen behavior and short-term stability as well as THD in the clock circuit. All this adds up to how much or how little jitter is injected versus removed by using an external word or master clock.

There are some great write-ups on this out there including on Computer Audiophile forum where a noted expert in clocks, DACs, as well as high-end Telecom experience writes very clearly about 'fit for purpose', Rb or Cesium versus OCXO, TXCO, crystal-cut, etc....
