Hi Wildsam
Have not tried to play that loud ! But i would certainly love to be able to disable the eco mode, as its really annoying, especially if you use the amp. with the TV,...or just listening with some streaming product. Would love the ability to disable eco mode, manually....actually thought the eco mode was just on the EU-Models ?? |

Me too... But if your usermanual got a ECO sign on the front page, you also have a ECO model.. It can be disabled, its described in the first section of the usermanual I have disabled it on my DC-37 and C-2120, but also did it on my E-470 (when i had it). I cant remember, but you shall push a button when turning the amp on.... Then the "display" will display "ECO OFF or something :P.

spurv...thank you sooooo much
So easy to turn of the ECO-Mode For others who also did not read in their manual .... Turn of the E-470 then hold the MONO Button while turning it on again. there will be an E-of sign in the display. So when we ever should meet spurv i will serve you a cool beer Flemming |

I am very curious to know what speakers are you using and how loud have you been playing music when the shut-off function has kicked in. Some 5-6 years ago I have heard/seen an E-450 integrated literally shacking a 3 floors shop (i.e. the Alpha high-end in Antwerp) while driving a pair of Martin Longan X and playing some very dynamic opera music. Even at those ridiculous volumes the shut-off function of that integrated was not triggered (though the Logan's have powered subwoofers). Last edited by nvp; 10-19-2015 at 01:05 AM. |

I am using ATC's latest SCM40 Towers
I was very surprised to see the flashing meters, I dont normally crank the volume to ear bleeding levels. I was testing the limits and found them Thanks for all the replies gents |

Flashing meters reset
When the amp started flashing the meters I understand that it's a protection feature?

Have you checked the fuse(s)? If you are using the phono-card, have you tried unplugging it? Also, you may have fried a speaker rather than the amp. Do you have another pair you can connect in order to test?
If that doesn't help, will guess only your Accuphase service center will be able to reset things. Good luck.
