Wasn't actually a dumb move by the browns. They received the Texans second round pick as well. They are expected to trade Brock which could give them another pick. They are only on the hook for his 16M salary this yr, but with them having over a 100M in cap space it makes sense. They can trade or worst case, cut Brock. They netted at least a second round pick for nothing, no way they could spend all that cap space. They are in full rebuilding so if I was the GM I would be getting as many draft picks as possible. Texans made a dumb move by overpaying for Brock and now it cost them a second round pick as well.
