Anyone here choose the No. 1’s over the 2’s and regret the decision?

If they did I'll bet they're not talking.
As someone who bounces back & forth between monitors and floorstanders, they both have their strengths & weaknesses. Depends on what one is looking for.

Thinking about either the 1038 BE or the Sopra N2’s.....I know huge price difference...but dealer is willing to make a really good deal on the Sopra N2’s.

My current gear is MC402 and C2300...I listen to Mat Kearney John Mayer and through in some electronic deep house music as well. I also listen to tons of other stuff but this dominates my play list.

I'll give you a bump on that because I'm considering those two options. 1038Be does have one more woofer on it, but I don't know if that translates into deeper or better bass quality.

I had the sopra 2 in my system for a while.
The beryllium tweeter did not react well to my Krell amplifier. My dealer took them back at full value as it was a known characteristic. Bass is extraordinary.

Default Sopra 2 Amplification

Hello,
I am in search of a used pair of Sopra 2's. I noticed that the recomended wattage does not excede 300WPC. I have an Mcintosh MC452. Would this amp be safe to use with this amp? Of course not to crank the Hell out of it.

Thanks
