ClearAudio also makes Marantz's TT15 which is based off an Emotion SE with some Marantz flourishes.

I don't disagree that Mc turntables are made by another firm but I don't believe the premium is that much that they would take a Concept and rebadge it as the MT2. I definitely see more parallels with the Performance range.

To me, it looks like a Concept as well with a few tweaks to make it Mac ... the platter, the speed dial settings along with its location ~ seem to be almost identical.But there may be a few things done to it for performance as well.



In my opinion the CA Clarify tonearm looks close to the Mac MT2 arm including the lift mechanism. It could be based on the Clarify with some aesthetic features to differentiate it.
