Could you elaborate a bit? I can use Tidal or Qobuz with my dCS gear either via Roon or dCS's own Mosaic App. Either option allows me to control my endpoint.

Check You Tube. Plenty of video demos there. I have used it for four years on three different models and it works well for me on Tidal an Qobuz.

I assumed he meant you can’t control the endpoint using the Qobuz app directly, you have to either use Roon or the device’s app, in your case Mosaic.

That's correct you can't use the desktop app unless you want to use Airplay from an enabled device and restrict yourself to 16/44. If you want to take advantage of a tracks full resolution above that you either have to either use Roon or the Streamers own app.

So I use a PC as my endpoint. Can I get hi-Rez from the Qobuz Windows app on my PC using USB to my YggY DAC?

I do that with Tidal.

Yes you can get Hi Res from the Qobuz desktop app if you are hardwired to your DAC.

Thanks - I’ll check it out. We have pretty slow internet here in the wilds of Colorado and Tidal MQA sometimes drops out a lot. I find that odd because I can stream 1080p video without issue.

I’m pretty rural as well and have 3mb dsl service. I find I have the same problem with Tidal MQA, lots of dropouts. I have no problem streaming decent video or Qobuz, so I suspect it’s a problem with Tidal or MQA.
