Hi, Dafos
As much as I like them, I haven't heard them since I got Magico Q3 in Feb, they were just standing somewhere in the listening room. Due to weight of all of them, with spiked installed, I didn't have the mean to move each speakers around as I planned. and in second hand market, Salon2 resale value sinking fast and also not very popular in second hand market here. So when there was chance to sell it, I had to sell it, to keep some $$$ in the pocket to upgrade system in the future. and we always can expect a better Salon3 in the future right. I have had enough fun with them.

Toga

sorry for the late reply. Well, as far as update goes, the C-3800 is settling in perfectly and is waiting for a new source. The K01 didnt make it past the 2 months mark, just didnt make music sing the way i liked it.

Currently working towards a new DSD DAC source. Shortlist: Chord, EMM LABS.

Whats great with the 3800, its that wether you have a magnificent source or a very reasonable one (currently using a Pure i20 dock DAC lol), it delivers plenty of that Accuphase sexy sound.

Cant wait to pair it with a Accuphase amp. Either A60 or A65 depending on auditions, with Wilson Audio Duett's.

I blew all my cash on the 3800

But, also and more importantly, im a big believer in ladder NOS DACs, which the 900/901 is not.
