Default New Presto Website Design

Presto Classical went live this week with a redesigned website. It looks nice, but as with all changes, it will take some time to get used to the updated layout / functionality.

I like these guys and keep buying my music from them.

The new site looks pretty good. Presto often has good deals on some of the more interesting box sets.

In summary, a great place for classical music lovers and a complement to existing resources such as Amazon. I highly recommend it.
Presto IS the best resource for classical music buyers.

As to, "US quoted prices are fair" that is an understatement. Almost always less than Amazon prices.
One week for delivery from England. Always shipped and arrives on time.

Absolutely wonderful site/re-seller.

Good thread

Just saw that but it won't accept my sign in.

Anyone else lose their account as a result of this redesign????

edit:

Come to think of it, do people who buy CD's from Presto have accounts?

I don't think they have such a feature. My cart, must be specific to your computer cookies not to a Presto account. ??

Default Presto Classical, a Great Resource for Classical Music Lovers

I mostly buy downloads and the occasional cd, but I do have an account and my login is working this morning.

Ever since we tried the metric system conversion here in the US years ago, I decided I'm not a huge fan of change. I owned Coke stock but never drank it. Again....change ain't always good, as I and other investors learned when they told us Coke II was the next best thing. Heck, I still like my energy coming from electricity generated by burning coal. And think marriage vows matter.

To wit: change doesn't come easily to me. I liked the 'old' Presto. I have yet to determine what they have accomplished with this newfangled site. Was management just bored and decided to 'liven things up'? That's the worse excuse.

I have a handful (three) labels I have come to trust, so I like to search for new and coming releases by label. I don't see how to do that with NEW and IMPROVED Presto.

Maybe my whites will be whiter, though......
