Those two brands are among the best. Doubt you could go wrong with either.

I was breaking in my new Weber Spirit just the other evening. Fantastic grill, much smaller than the Summit but I don't need a huge grill for my deck and two people. I am sure the Summit is a superb grill.

Bob, thank you! The tongues are awesome!

Thinking about adding the option of Weber Rotisserie and trying a whole chicken and prime rib. Have never attempted those two before.

That was a bit more than a tongue in cheek comment on the tongues -- have had many variations and those are so easy to open/close, especially when hands are practically full balancing flavorizers, plates, or whatever.

Anyways, the rotisserie option is a no brainer -- love rotisserie cooking of whole chicken, turkey breast and pork tenderloin.

Best Sir,

Bob

We purchased a Summit S-470 natural gas grill last summer to replace an older model Weber on our deck. We also use a Weber Q 1200 portable gas grill when we travel in our Airstream. The Summit and Q are excellent grills.

Oh yeah I know what you mean! These tongues open back up with one hand, very convenient. Pork tenderloin! Yes! Must try that as well.

Just got a new lid for my 10 year old Weber Genesis after a HUGE tree fell on it. Didn't even break a wheel off but crushed the lid.

The fact that Weber still has the parts pretty much means my next grill will also be a Weber.

Also they had the best price and only charged me $7 to ship a 60lb Stainless lid.
