Topless!
My Ref 110 cover has been intact for about the past week to see if I was really hearing a difference. I had removed it a couple of months back thinking I heard an improvement. I just removed it again and hear an immediate improvement in spaciousness and imaging. The difference is considerable.
Kind of crazy... Sent from my iPad using A.Aficionado |

Maybe you should do a blind test, where you don't know if it's on or off. Then you will know for sure.

Have somebody else do the cover switching who leaves the room while you listen....at least ten times.
You have to get it right at least 8 out of ten times. |

After removing the top cover, you may disconnect the fans. That is how I eventually run my Ref110.
